DESCRIPTION:The NCJCS Board of Directors is inviting all NCJCS staff\, students\, and volunteers from the past\, present\, and future to visit Minsi Lake with us on August 21\, 2021 and view the habitat project we have spearheaded over the passed 4 years through our Friends of Minsi Lake Committee. We will participate in an invasive plant removal along the new Dam embankment and check out the new lake habitat and recreation structures.\nFeel free to bring a canoe or kayak with you to paddle the lake with us.\nWe plan to meet at 9:30 and launch canoes and kayaks into the lake where we will begin invasive plant removal from the embankment. Please dress accordingly. We plan to stop for a picnic style lunch afterwards.\nPlease bring a packed lunch\, Beverages will be provided.

This has been an interesting year\, to say the least!\n\nWe have teamed up with Dun & Bradstreet to do our part and clean up a portion of the Lehigh River in Bethlehem on Monday\, October 19\, 2020. Meeting at 9:00 AM. We are seeking any NCJCS alumni that might be interested in participating. We will be starting/stopping at Sand Island Park in Bethlehem. All participants will need to wear a mask and practice social distancing. DESCRIPTION:The largest annual fundraiser for the Northampton County Junior Conservation School\, Northampton County Youth Field Day Foundation\, and the Northampton County Federation of Sportsmen’s Clubs. Tickets have been sold out since October of 2019. Volunteers from NCJCS are needed to help assist other volunteers for the night as well as to run prizes at the end of the banquet to winners. Dinner will be provided. DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWelcome to the Youth Outdoor Adventures program. This year we will present the 12th annual event and it will be hosted at Blue Mountain Fish and Game Association in Walnutport\, PA. Our mission is to introduce a variety of topics for children to do in the outdoors. We have professional instructors from a diverse group of organizations who are well educated in their topic. These educators are doing their best to teach the basics and the safety aspects in the time permitted so that students can optimize the outdoor sport or activity and are safe at the same time. \nThis program will take place on Saturday\, June 16\, 2018. An entire day of fun and education provided free to 100 children between the ages of 8-15. When we say entire day\, we mean 7:00 am to approximately 5:45 pm. The children will have ten stations to rotate through\, each lasting 45 minutes. Breakfast and lunch will be provided along with any materials needed at any of the stations. \nThis year our schedule includes fishing\, casting\, wilderness survival\, archery\, trapping\, canoeing\, invasive plants\, BB gun range\, first aid and habitat building. \nThe funding for this free program is paid for through fundraisers\, donations and dedicated sponsors. We cannot thank enough all those who have supported us in one way or another over the past 11 years.
